RQUG, the self-governing user group for RamQuest's solutions was ready to better align their identity with RamQuest's rebranded look. Their outdated logo had diminished in value with the rise of event-centered logos, leaving the group without a way to brand group-wide information and leadership wanted to create a "splash" to infuse fresh energy within membership.
The first step was to create a new logo that partnered with RamQuest's brand assets...then it was time to dive into developing a reveal plan in conjunction with the Annual User Conference. The result was a multi-day celebration of what made RQUG unique, valuable, and fun.
A number of ideas were considered for the new logo.
The final selection utilized the master brand's typeface and colors, while harkening to the previous logo's three "dot-people" in a new way.
The new logo was celebrated at a mutli-day event, including a lanyard button give-away.
After the logo launch video played, logo'd beach balls were tossed into the audience to foster a festive atmosphere.
A multi-day scavenger hunt app was designed to highlight the new logo's message of connection.
Event signage was also marked with the new group logo to continue reinforcing the new brand.
