Once upon a time, I quoted.
You know how I love words, right? All of ‘em...well, most of 'em at least. There are a few spellings that irritate me but that’s another post for another day. I even chose to lead most of my posts with a quotation image block to help set the tone for that day's subject matter.
Since I was a child, I have loved how just the right words can combine with just the right image in just the right layout to create a magical moment...an emotional pull, an enlightenment. So, it should come as no shock to you that I am obsessed with inspirational quotes. Can’t get enough of them!
My Darling Reader, please tell me you also love how ordinary words someone tossed off one day suddenly seem weightier, wiser after they’ve been canonized. If so, you're sure to have searched the internet for just the right nugget for a project or gift, right? I know I'm not alone in this because I have found several websites I frequent when I’m looking for a quote on a certain theme. Here’s a few faves:
