A Sweet Deal
- Charitable Marketing Campaign -
Pop-Candy, a fictional corporation based on Dylan's Candy Bar, wanted to merge the worlds of candy and art with a non-profit spin. This MFA project delivered a campaign from strategy to finish while featuring a number of multi-media designs. Including tasks such as competitive research, identifying a target audience, defining a message and developing a brand, this project encompasses many real-world marketing scenarios. The final presentation highlights skills such as branded asset tool kits, print and interactive designs and professional writing.
Initial logo ideas are often sketched. This phase is not often seen by the client but it is a great tool for rapid ideation.
Once a final logo is selected, various versions are created to ensure quality printing in one, two, and full-color scenarios.
Multiple mood boards are developed to hone brand assets. This option was an early draft and focused more on feminine youthfulness. The final mood board featured brighter colors and more playful typefaces.
During a branding project, sample advertisements are often a great way to envision the new look and feel...this one highlights the brand's voice, along with photography, typography, and color palette.
Mock website pages express the brand's assets and voice while also offering insight into possible user-experience opportunities.
